Local health and care in your area is set to undergo one of the largest ever transformations under the Mid and South Essex Success Regime. This includes proposals to rearrange hospital services across sites in Chelmsford, Southend and Basildon. You have an opportunity to give your views before proposals are developed for public consultation.

A series of public workshops is being held around mid and south Essex throughout September and October and we’re encouraging lots of people to come along find out more and have a say.

What matters to you and your family for your future health care? What could changes to health care look like? At each workshop, there’ll be a chance to talk about how access to GPs and community healthcare could improve, putting more emphasis on prevention and early diagnosis, and how emergency care could be provided differently in this area in the future.

Dr Caroline Dollery, Chair of Mid Essex Clinical Commissioning Group, said: “Healthcare in this area will be changing and local people must have their say on the current thinking of the Mid and South Essex Success Regime. This is your healthcare, for you and your family. By coming along to one of the workshops, we can capture your opinions and find out what matters most to you.”
